Cats are ruthless product reviewers; most toys fail the second week. We judge toys on durability against teeth and claws, whether the motion pattern resembles real prey, and — non-negotiably — safety: no easily swallowed parts, no unsupervised string or elastic, secure seams on anything stuffed. If a popular toy needs supervision to be safe, we say so plainly.
